Navigating the Platform

SachBol has several main sections accessible from the navigation menu:

• 📝 Feed: Browse all posts from the community
• 📊 Polls: Participate in community polls and surveys

• 👥 Groups: Create or join private groups with invite codes

How to Create a Post

1. Click the "Create Post" button (orange + icon)
2. Select a Category (Politics, Social Issue, Confession, etc.)
3. Add an optional Title for your post
4. Write your Content - share your thoughts freely!
5. Optionally attach an Image (if applicable)
6. Click "Post" to publish

Post Categories

• Politics: Discuss political issues and current events
• Social Issue: Address societal problems and concerns
• Confession: Share personal confessions anonymously
• College / Education: Talk about academic life and education
• Other: Everything else that doesn't fit above categories

Editing Your Posts

You can edit your posts from the "My Posts" section:

1. Go to My Posts from the menu
2. Find the post you want to edit
3. Click the Edit button
4. Make your changes and save

💬 4. Engaging with Content

Liking Posts

Show appreciation for posts you enjoy by clicking the ❤️ like button. Each like:

• Gives you 1 point
• Gives the author 1 point
• Helps promote quality content

Commenting

Share your thoughts on posts:

1. Click on a post to view details
2. Scroll to the comment section
3. Type your comment
4. Click "Comment" to post

Rewards: Earn 2 points for each comment

Replying to Comments

Create threaded discussions by replying to specific comments:

1. Find the comment you want to reply to
2. Click the Reply button
3. Write your reply
4. Submit to post

Voting on Polls

1. Go to the Polls section
2. Browse available polls
3. Click on an option to vote
4. View real-time results

Rewards: Earn 3 points for voting on polls

How to Earn Points

Building Streaks 🔥

Maintain your activity streak by posting or commenting every day:

• Current Streak: Days in a row you've been active
• Longest Streak: Your personal record
• Earn 2 bonus points daily for maintaining your streak
• Missing a day resets your current streak to 0

Badges & Achievements

Unlock badges as you reach milestones:

• 📝 First Post: Make your first post
• 🔥 3-Day Streak: Maintain a 3-day streak
• ⚡ 7-Day Streak: Maintain a 7-day streak
• 💎 30-Day Streak: Maintain a 30-day streak
• ⭐ Century: Reach 100+ points
• 🌟 Rising Star: Reach 500+ points
• 👑 Legend: Reach 1000+ points
• ✍️ Prolific Writer: Create 10+ posts
• 📚 Author: Create 50+ posts
• 💬 Conversationalist: Make 25+ comments

Viewing Your Stats

Access your profile to see:

• Total Points: Your lifetime points earned
• Current Streak: Days of consecutive activity
• Posts Count: Total posts you've created
• Comments Count: Total comments made
• Badges Earned: Your achievements
• Weekly Ranking: Your position on the leaderboard

My Posts

View all your posts in one place:

1. Click on "My Posts" in the menu
2. See all your posts sorted by date
3. Edit or delete posts as needed
4. Monitor engagement (likes & comments)

Settings

Customize your experience:

• Display Name: Choose how you appear (anonymous by default)
• Email Preferences: Manage notification emails
• Privacy Settings: Control your visibility
• Theme: Dark mode is default

Community Guidelines

✅ DO:

• Be respectful and kind to others
• Share meaningful and honest content
• Use appropriate language
• Report inappropriate content
• Engage in constructive discussions

❌ DON'T:

• Post hate speech or discriminatory content
• Share personal information (yours or others')
• Spam or post irrelevant content
• Bully or harass other users
• Share illegal or inappropriate content

Reporting Content

If you see inappropriate content:

1. Click the Report button on the post/comment
2. Select a reason for reporting
3. Add details (optional)
4. Submit the report

Our moderation team reviews reports within 24 hours.

AI Moderation

SachBol uses advanced AI to automatically detect:

• Toxic or offensive language
• Hate speech and harassment
• Spam and inappropriate content
• Threats and dangerous content

Violating content may be automatically removed or flagged for review.

❓ 8. Frequently Asked Questions

Is SachBol really anonymous?

Yes! Your posts and comments are anonymous to other users. Only admins can see user IDs for moderation purposes.

Can I delete my posts?

Yes, you can delete your posts anytime from the "My Posts" section. Deleted posts are moved to trash and can be recovered within 30 days.

How do I create a private group?

Go to the Groups section, click "Create Group", set group details, and share the invite code with members you want to add.

What happens if I break the rules?

Violations may result in:

• Content removal
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent ban for serious violations

How do I recover my account?

Use the "Forgot Password" option on the login page if you signed up with email. For Google sign-in, use your Google account recovery.

Can I change my username?

You can change your display name from Settings, but remember - all posts remain anonymous anyway!

Is there a mobile app?

Currently, SachBol is a progressive web app (PWA) that works great on mobile browsers. A native app may be released in the future!
